Upcycling: Chest of Drawers

During these times many of us get bored and are looking for something to do at home. I suggest Upcycling. I recently took an old piece of furniture I have had for years and decided to improve it. This chest of drawers was not an expensive piece of furniture so I wasn't worried if it didn't work out. However I am happy with the result. I decided to paint the chest of drawers in Dulux Mid Shadow in a water based satinwood finish. If you are looking to use this colour and formula please know that you will have to get it mixed up in a shop that sells Dulux paint. I am a big fan of a satinwood finish and the water based formula makes it easier to clean up afterwards as well as being a more environmentally friendly formula. I also wanted to improve the handles on these drawers. I planned to purchase new handles however when I measured them the handles were an awkward size and I was unable to find replacements.
