Carter Beauty Half Measure Dewy Foundation

Hi guys! I'm back with another foundation review. I apologize for the lack of posting recently as I have been busy with college exams. I haven't had much of a chance recently to test out make up but I did get a chance to try out the Carter Beauty Half Measure Dewy Foundation. I purchased this in Penney's recently as Carter Beauty in now available in many Penney's stores in Ireland. I must say the packaging of this brand looks very nice. The foundation comes in a matt glass bottle with a rubber dropper. I like the fact that the bottle is glass but I found that the dropper didn't pick up much product and wasn't the best quality in my opinion. I also really prefer a pump with my foundation, I think it's much easier to control the amount you are going to be applying. I bought mine in the shade Marshmallow and I think the colour might actually be a bit too light for my skin tone. The foundation comes in 12 shades with isn't bad for this brand but there is def...

First impressions: Carter Beauty Zodiac palettes

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be testing out the brand new palettes from Carter Beauty. I haven't tried this brand before but I have heard a lot of good reviews. They just launched the Zodiac Collection which includes two palettes and a few pairs of eyelashes. I don't have the lashes to try out but I do have both of the palettes. I was drawn to these when I saw them swatched on the Carter Beauty Instagram stories. The pigmentation looked incredible. I ordered these off the Cara Pharmacy website which I will leave a link to down below. The palettes are called the Zodiac palette and the Saturn palette. Each palette has three eyeshadow shades and then a contour, highlight and blush shade. Initially I thought that these palettes looked quite similar to one another however as you can tell from the swatches they are a little different. The Zodaic palette shades weren't as impressive as the Saturn palette shades. The Saturn eyeshadows are so unlike any formula I have ever tried ...

Morphe 39A eye look

Hi guys! Morphe have recently brought back the 39A palette due to high demand and I couldn't be more pleased. I bought this palette a while back when it was sold for a limited time. At the time I thought about reviewing it however it went out of stock not long after I purchased it so I didn't think it would be fair to review a product you could no longer get your hands on. So now that it's back I'm going to be showing you a look a created using the palette.  I wanted to create a simple look with this palette using the pink shades. I started by using the palest transition shade and placed that all over my lid focusing it more in the crease. I then used these three purple/pink shades from the top row of the palette in my crease, bringing the most vibrant pink highest up in my crease and placing the other two colours on the outer v of my lid. I then took this deep gold shade and packed that all over my centre lid. I then topped the look off by adding some mascara and...

The Bam & Boo collection

Hi guys! I have recently teamed up with The Bam & Boo to review some of their products. The Bam & Boo are an eco-friendly company with the goal to bring, "ecological and social sustainability to this market". It's an honour to work with such an environmentally aware company. The toothbrushes come in a subscription form. You can order these toothbrushes to arrive every 1- 4 months depending on your preference. These are available in 2 sizes, come in soft and medium bristles and a variety of colours. The cotton buds can be purchased directly from their website at any time. They come in a paper box of 100, the stick is made of natural bamboo and the tips are pure cotton. They are vegan friendly and are a zero waste product. Both products have biodegradable packaging. My boyfriend and I have been testing out these products for just over a week now and we are both very pleased with the products. The feel of the toothbrushes are very different to the usual plastic one...
