MUA Prism Highlighter Hit or Miss??

Hi guys today I'm going to be talking about these Mua Prism Highlighters. I ordered these in 2 shades I got Solar Flare and Ultra Violet from the Superdrug website. I paid £4 each for these but they are currently on sale for £3 on the website.
Initially on swatching these products I was impressed. These both have a duochrome glow to them, Solar Flare has a pinky/gold glow to it and Ultra Violet has more of an icy white with a hint of a purple. Solar Flare swatched beautifully and it has a creamy texture however when I swatched Ultra Violet it was very chalky and flaky.
I was very curious to see how these highlighters would apply and look on the skin. I applied these and unfortunately I was disappointed, they just weren't as pigmented as I would have liked. I usually prefer a blinding glow on my face and there are lots of drugstore highlighters out there that give you a very intense glow at a good price.
However if you are someone who is looking for a cheap duochrome highlighter with a subtle glow then by all means give this a try but it just didn't suit me personally. These come in 5 shades in total, I believe they're are also more green and blue shades if your looking for a colour that is more out there. Overall I think that these are nice for a very subtle highlight but if you're looking for a more intense glow these might not be for you so for that reason they are a miss for me. I'd give these highlighters about a 4/10 rating just for the level of pigmentation and their subtle glow.

SOSU Contour Stick

Hi guys! Today I’m going to be reviewing the SoSu contour stick. I’m aware this product has been around for a while now but I have always avoided cream contour products for two reasons. The first being that I don’t want the product to slide around my face and also powder products are easier to use. Secondly, any cream contour products I have come across for reasonable money have been too dark for my skin tone. I purchased the contour stick in the shade ‘Cool’ from my local pharmacy that stocks SoSu products. On application I swiped the contour stick directly onto my face where I would normally apply contour powder and then I used a beauty sponge to blend it out. The stick is very pigmented and it only takes one swipe to apply. It’s very smooth on the skin and the product is easy to build up if you want a more prominent contour. The component feels good quality and the product is cruelty-free, paraben-free and vegan. Overall I think this is a great product. The stick is ea...

Moo Goo Shampoo Review

I realise I am late to discovering this shampoo but nevertheless it deserves a review. I picked up the Moo Goo shampoo in my local chemist last week after a friend recommended it to me. I must admit I have been obsessed every since. I have dry hair and over the years I feel like I have tried every shampoo on the market for dry hair. It wasn't until I discovered the Garnier Ultimate Blends shampoo did my hair improve at all however sometimes even that doesn't work for my hair. It can be frustrating as using hair masks can make my hair go greasy faster and my scalp would still be dry. Since I started using the Moo Goo shampoo my hair looks more hydrated and there is no dryness on my scalp. This shampoo is a little more expensive than your average bottle of shampoo however I believe it is worth every penny. This shampoo is excellent and also leaves a lovely shine.   Available at:  https://moogoo.ie/scalp-friendly-milk-shampoo Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC...

Vieve Modern Matte Lipstick

Hi and happy Sunday! I recently picked up the 'Vieve Modern Matte Lipstick' in the shade Comin' in Haute and I wanted to share my thoughts. I really found it difficult to decide which colour to purchase but I decided to go with this shade first. There are five other nude shades available in this range. I think the packaging of this product is incredible and it looks a lot more expensive than it is. Also it has a magnetic closure on the lid and I think that adds even more to the product. Besides from the packaging this lipstick is in a matte finish and lasts a long time. It feels comfortable on the lipstick and isn't drying. Jamie Genevieve did a wonderful job. Even though we all aren't wearing as much lipstick as we were before Covid it's still nice to find a good one to add to our make up collections.  Available at:  https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/vieve-modern-matte-lipstick.html?variant_id=30363 Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4rEMBv5wF3CDYwTUEBqcXg?...
