The Best Concealer Ever?!?!

Hi guys today I'm going to be reviewing the new Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer. This concealer has been highly talked about since its release with many people saying its a close dupe from the Tarte shape tape concealer. I personally haven't tried the Tarte concealer so I can't do a comparison but I'd imagine this one is a good dupe for it from seeing what other beauty guru's are saying about it online. I bought this as soon as it was released on the Tam Beauty website for €4.98. I picked up the shade C1 which is the palest shade in the range. The shade range of the concealers that Makeup Revolution have released are extremely impressive for a drugstore brand. This concealer is available in 18 shades and is super affordable. It comes in this plastic tube with rose gold packaging, has a large doe foot applicator and you get 4ml of product. This product has a thick consistency and has amazing full coverage with a soft velvet finish. You can also contour with this product which is an amazing option to have if you're into cream contouring. The only thing to be careful with here is that is does dry down quickly so I would recommend blending in the product soon after applying it. I don't find this very drying on the skin even though it have a velvet finish it doesn't dry out my skin which is always a bonus.
This concealer is very illuminating on the skin. I have very pale skin so for me personally it can be tricky to find a brightening concealer, I usually use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade Fair 1 but that can oxidise on the skin so I was delighted to find that this concealer doesn't oxidise and really covers any dark areas on my skin.
Overall I absolutely love this product it is my new favourite concealer and if you have the same problem as me in finding the right shade for your skin tone and your looking for an amazing new concealer then I would definitely recommend checking this out.

Testing make up brushes from Lidl?!

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be reviewing the Miomare professional cosmetic brush set from Lidl. I was in Lidl last week and saw these. They were only €5 and I thought they would make an interesting blog post. This is an eight piece set that includes a powder brush, a blush brush, an eye shadow brush, a mascara wand, a lip brush, an eyeliner brush, an eye shadow applicator and  a brush roll . All the brushes are 100% synthetic. There were a few different colours of the brush rolls but I just got the black faux leather one. I was testing these brushes out over the weekend and I have some mixed feeling about them. My favourite brushes in this set are the powder and the blush blushes. I also really like the mascara wand. However I didn't enjoy the rest of the brushes. The eyeshadow brush did not apply product on my eyelid very well. The eyeshadow applicator, eyeliner and lip brushes weren't very useful for me. I don't usually use these tools when applying my make up anyway ...

Upcycling my bedside locker

Hi! Today I wanted to show you a piece of furniture I recently upcycled. I have this bedside locker for a few years. However the top of it have been damaged by nail varnish and it has some wear and tear marks. I decided to paint it one of my favourite colours from Dulux which is Mid Shadow. I picked up everything I needed from Bandon Co-Op Retail and Garden Centre. I will link what I bought down below.  I started by cleaning the locker with a damp cloth and then waited for it to dry. I removed the drawer knobs. Then I lightly sanded down the surfaces with some sanding paper. This creates a key for the paint to adhere to when you are applying it. I started applying my satinwood to the locker. I decided to purchase the water based satinwood as it drys quickly and is more environmentally friendly. It took about 4 coats however you can buy an undercoat too to reduce the amount of coats you need to apply.  For the drawer knobs I decided the keep them and spray paint...

Moo Goo Shampoo Review

I realise I am late to discovering this shampoo but nevertheless it deserves a review. I picked up the Moo Goo shampoo in my local chemist last week after a friend recommended it to me. I must admit I have been obsessed every since. I have dry hair and over the years I feel like I have tried every shampoo on the market for dry hair. It wasn't until I discovered the Garnier Ultimate Blends shampoo did my hair improve at all however sometimes even that doesn't work for my hair. It can be frustrating as using hair masks can make my hair go greasy faster and my scalp would still be dry. Since I started using the Moo Goo shampoo my hair looks more hydrated and there is no dryness on my scalp. This shampoo is a little more expensive than your average bottle of shampoo however I believe it is worth every penny. This shampoo is excellent and also leaves a lovely shine.   Available at:  https://moogoo.ie/scalp-friendly-milk-shampoo Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC...
