Reviewing The Ordinary foundation

Hi guys this post is going to be my review on The Ordinary foundations. These foundations exploded onto the market last year and sold out on so many websites it was difficult to get a hold of them. I was finally able to get my hands on these after some time of trying to give you guys my 2 cents so sorry this review is so late. I bought 2 shades in the serum formula and one shade in the coverage foundation. I picked up shade 1.0N and 1.1N in the serum formula and the shade 1.0N in the coverage formula.
These retail for under €10 which is one of the main reasons these were so hyped about. The formula of the foundations in my opinion are different to any other foundation I have ever tried but I don't think there is much difference between the serum and the coverage formula only that the coverage formula is a bit thicker. They both apply with a medium to full coverage depending on how much you are using and they blend into your skin easily.
The reason I think this formula is so different is because is so thin and very liquidy. It feels very light when applied to the skin but still has a good coverage and it doesn't feel like you're wearing foundation at all.
I love that this formula doesn't dry out my skin. I suffer from dry skin but this foundation didn't leave my skin feeling dry or flaky which is something I always watch for in any foundation I try. This brand offers a wide shade range as there are 21 shades to choose from and they also released a shade guide to help everyone find their perfect match.
The only thing I don't like about this product is that they aren't long lasting and could be easily wiped off which is disappointing for such a hyped product. I wouldn't recommend wearing this foundation on a night out just because it isn't as tough wearing as other foundations I have tried however I think this is perfect if you're looking for a simple foundation that you can easily wear on a daily basis.
I have also included swatches of the 3 shades I bought down below. Also please note for reference that the inside of my arm is a lot lighter than my face

Testing make up brushes from Lidl?!

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be reviewing the Miomare professional cosmetic brush set from Lidl. I was in Lidl last week and saw these. They were only €5 and I thought they would make an interesting blog post. This is an eight piece set that includes a powder brush, a blush brush, an eye shadow brush, a mascara wand, a lip brush, an eyeliner brush, an eye shadow applicator and  a brush roll . All the brushes are 100% synthetic. There were a few different colours of the brush rolls but I just got the black faux leather one. I was testing these brushes out over the weekend and I have some mixed feeling about them. My favourite brushes in this set are the powder and the blush blushes. I also really like the mascara wand. However I didn't enjoy the rest of the brushes. The eyeshadow brush did not apply product on my eyelid very well. The eyeshadow applicator, eyeliner and lip brushes weren't very useful for me. I don't usually use these tools when applying my make up anyway

SOSU Contour Stick

Hi guys! Today I’m going to be reviewing the SoSu contour stick. I’m aware this product has been around for a while now but I have always avoided cream contour products for two reasons. The first being that I don’t want the product to slide around my face and also powder products are easier to use. Secondly, any cream contour products I have come across for reasonable money have been too dark for my skin tone. I purchased the contour stick in the shade ‘Cool’ from my local pharmacy that stocks SoSu products. On application I swiped the contour stick directly onto my face where I would normally apply contour powder and then I used a beauty sponge to blend it out. The stick is very pigmented and it only takes one swipe to apply. It’s very smooth on the skin and the product is easy to build up if you want a more prominent contour. The component feels good quality and the product is cruelty-free, paraben-free and vegan. Overall I think this is a great product. The stick is ea
