What's Trending?!

So recently I've been seeing a lot of new trends that have arrived or will be coming in for summer so I wanted to share what trends I have noticed and which ones I think will be huge this summer.

The first has to be the revival of camo. I am a huge fan of camo so I always love to see it back in the shops. I recently picked up a pair of camo trousers myself which I'm looking forward to wearing as soon as the weather picks up. A lot of camo clothing has sold out online as I have been looking for camo trousers for the longest time so if you're interested in this look I would recommend acting quickly.

The next trend I have spotted is hair clips and hair bands. I'm a big fan of these and I have noticed both items appearing bit by bit in the shops. Although this trend hasn't taken off everywhere quite yet I think they will really gain traction in the next few months. So anyone who is a fan of Gossip girl can relive their Blair Waldorf moment.

Another trend set to arrive, in my opinion, is tie dye. So dust off your old tie dye t-shirts you made years ago because they will be coming back this summer. I already noticed some tie dye clothing being sold in some high street shops and when the weather gets warmer I believe we are going to see more of this.
Image result for neon clothing
The last trend I have observed trying to make a come back in neon. I've seen it poking through in many various forms in the last few weeks. I think neon can work well in more subtle ways, for example in accessories but I don't know how popular it will be in the clothing department.

SOSU Contour Stick

Hi guys! Today I’m going to be reviewing the SoSu contour stick. I’m aware this product has been around for a while now but I have always avoided cream contour products for two reasons. The first being that I don’t want the product to slide around my face and also powder products are easier to use. Secondly, any cream contour products I have come across for reasonable money have been too dark for my skin tone. I purchased the contour stick in the shade ‘Cool’ from my local pharmacy that stocks SoSu products. On application I swiped the contour stick directly onto my face where I would normally apply contour powder and then I used a beauty sponge to blend it out. The stick is very pigmented and it only takes one swipe to apply. It’s very smooth on the skin and the product is easy to build up if you want a more prominent contour. The component feels good quality and the product is cruelty-free, paraben-free and vegan. Overall I think this is a great product. The stick is ea...

Testing make up brushes from Lidl?!

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be reviewing the Miomare professional cosmetic brush set from Lidl. I was in Lidl last week and saw these. They were only €5 and I thought they would make an interesting blog post. This is an eight piece set that includes a powder brush, a blush brush, an eye shadow brush, a mascara wand, a lip brush, an eyeliner brush, an eye shadow applicator and  a brush roll . All the brushes are 100% synthetic. There were a few different colours of the brush rolls but I just got the black faux leather one. I was testing these brushes out over the weekend and I have some mixed feeling about them. My favourite brushes in this set are the powder and the blush blushes. I also really like the mascara wand. However I didn't enjoy the rest of the brushes. The eyeshadow brush did not apply product on my eyelid very well. The eyeshadow applicator, eyeliner and lip brushes weren't very useful for me. I don't usually use these tools when applying my make up anyway ...

Moo Goo Shampoo Review

I realise I am late to discovering this shampoo but nevertheless it deserves a review. I picked up the Moo Goo shampoo in my local chemist last week after a friend recommended it to me. I must admit I have been obsessed every since. I have dry hair and over the years I feel like I have tried every shampoo on the market for dry hair. It wasn't until I discovered the Garnier Ultimate Blends shampoo did my hair improve at all however sometimes even that doesn't work for my hair. It can be frustrating as using hair masks can make my hair go greasy faster and my scalp would still be dry. Since I started using the Moo Goo shampoo my hair looks more hydrated and there is no dryness on my scalp. This shampoo is a little more expensive than your average bottle of shampoo however I believe it is worth every penny. This shampoo is excellent and also leaves a lovely shine.   Available at:  https://moogoo.ie/scalp-friendly-milk-shampoo Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC...
