MUA Prism Highlighter Hit or Miss??

Hi guys today I'm going to be talking about these Mua Prism Highlighters. I ordered these in 2 shades I got Solar Flare and Ultra Violet from the Superdrug website. I paid £4 each for these but they are currently on sale for £3 on the website. Initially on swatching these products I was impressed. These both have a duochrome glow to them, Solar Flare has a pinky/gold glow to it and U ltra Violet has more of an icy white with a hint of a purple. Solar Flare swatched beautifully and it has a creamy texture however when I swatched Ultra Violet it was very chalky and flaky.   I was very curious to see how these highlighters would apply and look on the skin. I applied these and unfortunately I was disappointed, they just weren't as pigmented as I would have liked. I usually prefer a blinding glow on my face and there are lots of drugstore highlighters out there that give you a very intense glow at a good price. However if you are someone who is looking for a cheap duochrome hig

Benefit Complexionista palette

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be reviewing the Benefit Complexionista palette. I have been testing this out for about 2 weeks now and I wanted to give you guys my opinion on this palette. It comes with 6 pans 2 concealers, 2 bronzer's, and 2 highlights. This palette is quite small in size which makes it very handy for travelling in particular.  Below I have created a look using this palette. I used the shade no.1 in boi-ing industrial strength concealer I placed this under my eyes and on my chin. I then started contouring using the shade Hoola under by cheek bones. I used a Real Techniques contour brush from the core collection. I then used the shade Hoola light to bronze up the rest of my face. I used the '3' technique I've seen many celebrities use this method. So you start on the temples of your forehead you then go down in a sweeping motion towards under your cheek bones area where you applied your bronzer earlier. Then you continue your brush down along the ed

Penney's Haul

Hi guys! As we all know Penney's clothes are probably in every girls wardrobe in the country and I'm no exception. They're cheap and even though the quality isn't as good as some of the high street brands they always try to keep up with the latest trends and it's a place I always love to shop. So for this post  I'm going to be showing you what I picked up in Penney's the other day. I got some amazing pieces that were in the sale and I just wanted to share them with you guys. So firstly I picked up these burgundy runners that were down to €7 which was such a bargain. They have suede finish and are so comfortable to wear. I also picked up this blue velvet playsuit that was literally down to €5. I think this would be perfect for a night out if you match it with a leather jacket and either ankle boots or heels. I also picked up this black mesh top with a floral pattern. I have a few of these style tops already but I had to pick this up for lit

Reviewing Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation

Hi guys today I'm going to be reviewing the new Bourjois healthy mix serum foundation. Now this formula is different to their previous healthy mix foundation as their previous formula is a bit thicker, has a medium coverage and has a slight matte finish. This new formula has less coverage but is more brightening on the skin and has a dewy/glowy finish which I personally much prefer in my foundations as I have dry skin. There is also about €1/2 of a price difference. So firstly I primed my face as always using the Soap and Glory speed plump all day super moisture marvel. This leaves by skin feeling tacky which is the perfect base for my foundation. Even though this is only a moisturiser it works just as well as a primer as it has glycerin in it. I used the shade 51 Vanille clair for my foundation. I love the formula of this foundation as it doesn't dry out my skin and its a close shade to my actual skin tone. It also lasts for a long time especially for a drugstore foundatio

Testing I Heart Makeup palette

Hi guys today I going to be testing out and doing a tutorial on the I Heart Make up Chocolate Orange palette. I've never tried any of their eye shadow palettes before and I was intrigued to see if they are any good and do they really smell like chocolate!? I picked the chocolate orange palette because this is one of my favourite type of chocolate and smells and I love the colours in this palette too. Firstly I've got to mention it actually does smell like chocolate oranges but its just not a very intense smell compared to the Too Faced palettes. For this eye look I started using the shade Silky Smooth in my crease and blending that upwards using a Blank Canvas Cosmetics E32 brush. This gives the impression that your eyes look bigger. I then used the Peel shade lower down in my crease using that the Blank Canvas Cosmetics E42. Then I took a more precise Spectrum A12 brush and placed the shade Dessert on the outer corners of my eyes to darken up the edges. I then finally took

Make up Revolution Retro Luxe Lip Vault Review

Hi guys today I'm going to be reviewing the Make up Revolution Retro Luxe Lip Vault. I was so excited to order this vault as I am a huge fan of the Make up Revolution brand and I am obsessed with their lip products in particular. So in this vault you receive 10 lip kits in this lovely 2 drawer box. There are 2 gloss kits, 5 matte lip kits and 3 metallic kits. Here is a list of the shades from left to right just so you guys know what comes in this vault:                                                                                          Glosses: (on the left) Original Honour Mattes: (top right) Highness (Exclusive to this Vault)          Noble Duchess (Exclusive to this Vault) Grandee Echelon Metallic: (on the bottom right)  In Waiting Empress Regent All of these products come with a lip liner and have amazing pigmentation with the exception of the metallic shades being more sheer. These remind me more of a lip topper pigmentation. The metallics are pro

Makeup Revolution Life on the Dance Floor VIP

Hi guys! Today I'm going to being reviewing the new Makeup Revolution Life on the Dance Floor VIP collection.  I picked up this collection from a few different places which I'll link down below. So firstly I have to talk about the stunning packaging of this entire collection. This sparkly packaging makes this collection appear exclusive and expensive which is impressive especially for a drug store brand. I purchased 3 of the 4 new eye shadow palettes. I bought the palettes based on the colour schemes I found most appealing to me. I picked up Guest List, VIP and After Party. The only palette I didn't purchase was the Sparklers palette just because the colours didn't appeal to me personally.  Here are swatches from the Guest List palette just to give you guys an idea of the pigmentation. I think that overall these palettes have nice pigmentation, the best being the shimmer shades. My favourite palette is definitely the After Party palette as it is mainly beauti
