Testing The Ordinary High-Spreadability Fluid Primer

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on The Ordinary High Spreadability Fluid Primer. I bought this online recently as I'm on the hunt for a new primer that won't mattify my face too much but will also keep my foundation on all day. I tested this out with my normal Revolution Beauty Foundation stick in the shade F1. I have been grabbing this foundation a lot recently as it's very quick to apply. I applied the primer under my foundation. The primer has a nice consistency and spread easily on my face. It took a few seconds to dry into my skin. It left my skin feeling a bit tacky which I really like in a primer and also hydrated. I then continued with the rest of my make up routine. I wore my make up for 9 hours. Initially I was skeptical of this primer but I must say the primer did make my foundation last longer on my face and wasn't drying. My foundation usually begins to break up around my chin and nose areas first but with this primer that seems to

Testing make up brushes from Lidl?!

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be reviewing the Miomare professional cosmetic brush set from Lidl. I was in Lidl last week and saw these. They were only €5 and I thought they would make an interesting blog post. This is an eight piece set that includes a powder brush, a blush brush, an eye shadow brush, a mascara wand, a lip brush, an eyeliner brush, an eye shadow applicator and  a brush roll . All the brushes are 100% synthetic. There were a few different colours of the brush rolls but I just got the black faux leather one. I was testing these brushes out over the weekend and I have some mixed feeling about them. My favourite brushes in this set are the powder and the blush blushes. I also really like the mascara wand. However I didn't enjoy the rest of the brushes. The eyeshadow brush did not apply product on my eyelid very well. The eyeshadow applicator, eyeliner and lip brushes weren't very useful for me. I don't usually use these tools when applying my make up anyway

First impressions: Carter Beauty Zodiac palettes

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be testing out the brand new palettes from Carter Beauty. I haven't tried this brand before but I have heard a lot of good reviews. They just launched the Zodiac Collection which includes two palettes and a few pairs of eyelashes. I don't have the lashes to try out but I do have both of the palettes. I was drawn to these when I saw them swatched on the Carter Beauty Instagram stories. The pigmentation looked incredible. I ordered these off the Cara Pharmacy website which I will leave a link to down below. The palettes are called the Zodiac palette and the Saturn palette. Each palette has three eyeshadow shades and then a contour, highlight and blush shade. Initially I thought that these palettes looked quite similar to one another however as you can tell from the swatches they are a little different. The Zodaic palette shades weren't as impressive as the Saturn palette shades. The Saturn eyeshadows are so unlike any formula I have ever tried
